Placing an order: placing an order at Design Studio V's The Hidden Barn Collection is easy. Just browse through our range of products and select the item(s) you wish to buy and add to your shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "checkout". You will then be asked to provide a few details that we need to fulfil your order efficiently. 

Once you've placed your order you have made an offer to buy goods at the stated price on that day.  We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order, which will also be the point of contract between us.

Price & Payment Methods : You must pay us the stated price  plus the delivery charges of your order before we will send any part of it. You can pay using your credit or debit card online, using Paypal, which are being processed by a secure online payment processor. This is a secure and easy payment method and you don't need to be a Paypal member to make a payment for an item of The Hidden Barn Collection.  Or you can use your Paypal balance if you have a Paypal account.  Payment can also be made by a cheque drawn on a UK bank, in which case the purchased item can only be dispatched after clearance of the cheque. Please make cheques payable to T/A Topas Trade - Design Studio V.

When placing an order we require your name, email address, full telephone number and delivery address.  After payment of your order you will receive confirmation via email.

Delivery Timescales:  Our aim is to dispatch your order as promptly as possible; this is normally within 2 - 6 working days of purchasing your item(s). If, for any reason, this is not possible we will contact you to inform you when you can expect delivery.  In case the item you ordered is not in stock, we will put your order on back order and will let you know straight away when you can expect delivery.  If an item is labelled special order item (which can be the case because many of our products are hand made or hand finished to achieve the good quality and the unique character),  it means that the item(s) may have a delivery time of 4-6 weeks.  We will then inform you as soon as possible when you can expect delivery of the purchase. You may want to email us for information on expected delivery times for the item, before you complete the purchase.  However, in this case you'd perhaps prefer to accept an alternative we offer.

Delivery Method: Delivery  is made by carrier or by standart postage to mainland England and Wales and to the address stipulated in your order. We cannot provide a specified time on the day of delivery.  The carrier delivers only to your frontdoor at ground level and will not place or assemble your purchase. Goods must be checked upon arrival and any discrepancies recorded at the time of delivery. Please ensure that the item(s) your order will be able to pass freely through doorways, passageways, staircases etc.

Delivery charges : Standard Postage: for orders up to 2 kg please add £ 4,95 to your order. For Medium Weight goods (orders up to 15 kg) please add £ 10,95 to your order for delivery.  For Heavy Weight goods (orders of 15 - 100 kg please add £ 39.95 to your order for delivery. For Extra Weight goods (orders over 100 kg) please add £ 49.95 to your order for delivery.

Returns Policy : We hope that you are happy with your purchase and we take great care in checking all items on their quality and appropriate packaging before being dispatched.

However, if you receive your item  and it is faulty or damaged due to transport, please contact us immediately by email and provide a picture and your written recording of the discrepancies taken on the day of delivery to let us know the extent of the damage of the product and/or packaging (see also as set out in Delivery Policy). Please note that our carriers require that we advise them of any transit damage within 24 hours of delivery. We will then contact you to arrange return of the faulty or transit damaged goods. We will offer a replacement of  faulty items  or refund all payments received if the same item is discontinued or you don't want it replaced by an alternative product.  

If your receive your purchase and it is not what you want you must email us within 7 days of receipt of the item and we will let you know how to return it. The item mus be returned to us in perfect order, securely wrapped and in its original undamaged packaging with the invoice enclosed.  After we have received the goods, we will refund the full purchase price. However, we will not refund the original delivery cost or the cost of returning the goods.

Cancellation of order : If you decide to cancel your order before its being dispatched, you must let us know immediately by email and a full refund will be credited.  If you cancel your order after it has been processed and/or dispatched, please follow the procedure set out in the returns policy.
